Join my three daughters and I on our one-night backpacking adventure. It was my 5 year-olds inaugural backpacking trip and my first trip of the season. We hiked, cooked sausages, roasted s'mores, attempted to catch fish, got eaten by mosquitoes and just have a good time in the great outdoors. It's nothing too exotic but we had a great time.

As I was recording this I reflected on some of my initial thoughts when my wife gave birth to our first daughter: I thought "How am I going to raise a girl? How will I bond and play?" I knew my SON and I would be outdoors a lot, camping and hiking, climbing rocks and fishing. In my naivete as a young dad I thought girls wouldn't like that... but really, they just want to be loved. My girls love the outdoors as much as my boys do. They love climbing rocks and trees, cooking over a fire and fishing as much as I do, but most importantly, it's a special bonding experience. And despite all of the mosquito bites and lack of sleep, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
